NiQ Health is pleased to collaborate with their Gold Partner ELA in providing CarePlus™ Nurse Call Solution for the newly opened Anne Leach Wing at Hollywood Private Hospital. The new wing, in honour of the World War II nurse Mrs Anne Leach, is part of the $74.1 million major infrastructure developments at the Hollywood hospital. ELA has successfully integrated the CarePlus™ nurse call system for the new building, which includes six state-of-the-art operating theatres and three 30 bed wards, all single rooms with en suite. CarePlus™ Care Management and Information Systems prioritizes and delivers patient calls and alarms directly to the assigned caregiver, providing clinicians with workflow efficiencies and improved patient satisfaction.
NiQ Health and ELA have a successful, long-standing relationship with Hollywood Private Hospital, WA’s largest private hospital based on bed numbers. The facility, owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, was originally built during World War II as the Repatriation General Hospital. Hollywood Private Hospital’s commitment to safety and delivering quality patient care is evident as it ranked first in the 2013 national survey of patient satisfaction in the ‘private hospital with over 300 beds’ category. With the addition of the new wing, Hollywood now has an increased capacity to provide care for over 70,000 patients and perform over 45,000 procedures each year.
